The weather was foggy, but began to clear about an hour later.  Josh and I ascended through tattered wisps of these ground clouds and were able to get a bird's eye view of the area.  What impressed me most was how many directions the colonists could have gone and how terribly thick the vegetation was.  It would have been a very slow and arduous trek in any direction.  DNA samples were taken from the local Indians and from the descendants of the original colonists to see if they are related.  You'll have to watch the show or buy the DVD to find out what the results were.
